Tahmina Shaily, Fellow EDRC, is an entrepreneur, designer, trainer, and Influencer. She founded her own brand ’Shoilee’ more than a decade ago. Her close involvement with the women entrepreneurs has convinced her of the need to reinvigorate the capacity building of the women entrepreneurs for creating an effective impact. This has led her to organize a women-centric entrepreneurship development and training enterprise – the ‘Entrepreneurial Creatives’. After graduating in Commerce, Ms. Tahmina Shaily started her career in the media industry as a voice artist, scriptwriter, and researcher with RTV in 2006. She joined the country's leading daily 'Prothom Alo', as a feature writer in 2008. She then served as Program Producer and Radio Jokey at ‘ABC Radio’ in 2009 and later as a Senior Sub- Editor of ‘Banik Barta’ in 2011. In 2014, Ms. Shaily joined ‘Radio Shadhin’ as a Program Producer and Radio Jokey. She launched her own brand through the ‘Shoilee Creative Studio’ in 2012, where she is also the Lead designer. Ms. Shaily likes to introduce herself as a Jewelry maker, a business where her passion for designing and creativity has blended uniquely. Her extensive experience in jewelry manufacturing at home and abroad has led her to guide, develop and actively participate in the manufacturing of her own products. She has worked on many design and communication projects with reputed corporate clients and creative professionals of the country and exhibited her products at home and abroad. An innovative event organizer, and opinion builder, Ms. Shaily has a frequent presence in print and electronic media events. An enthusiastic photographer with a keen sense of aesthetics and a graduate from the country’s leading photography training institute ‘Pathsala’, she is also a seasoned traveler and a gourmet.
